Legal StaffPartners:IRWIN S. KIRSCHENBAUM is a 1971 graduate of Brooklyn
Law School. Prior to entering the legal profession, he worked with
a “Big Four” accounting firm. He is responsible for
the firm’s technology operations and is the partner in charge
of the Collection Department. He was and continues to be a board
member and legal counsel to several industry organizations. He is
active in various professional and charitable organizations and
has lectured on collection issues. ELLIOT PHILLIPS is a 1969 graduate of St. John’s
Law School. Prior to joining the firm in 1976, he was a litigator
with a major New York City law firm. For the firm, he supervises
the legal staff as well as the firm’s national co-counsel
relationships. In addition, his responsibilities include compliance
with Federal and State laws, which regulate the practice, both professionally
and in the employment and personnel areas. He is active in several
Bar Associations and other collection industry organizations. Counsel: MICHAEL L. KOHL is a 1977 graduate of Loyola Law
School and maintained his own firm for more than 20 years, concentrating
in consumer, commercial and medical collections. He also has extensive
real estate experience and is a successful trial and appellate attorney. Associates: CHRISTOPHER J. BADUM is a 1976 graduate of Fordham
Law School and spearheads the firm’s bankruptcy and creditor’s
rights group. He is a recognized bankruptcy expert and has lectured
before various trade groups. KENNETH G. ZITTER is a 1977 graduate of New York
Law School and is an accomplished trial attorney. He has amassed
many courtroom and appellate successes. STEVEN L. ROSENTHAL is a 1986 graduate of New York
Law School and in addition to being an active trial attorney he
is instrumental in the firms post judgment collection efforts. DANIELE DERMESROPIAN is a 1999 graduate of La Sagesse
Law School in Beirut, Lebanon and went on to obtain an L.L.M. in
2000 from the Harvard School of Law in International Studies.
